How to Remove Dog Oil from Your Upholstery

How to Remove Dog Oil from Your Upholstery

AllAces Cleaning & Restoration is one of the most reputable upholstery cleaning services in Brisbane. We aim to provide our customers with the best service possible and can deal with all fabric types and leather.

One of our clients phoned us wanting us to clean their lounge that had been soiled. There were also traces of dog oil that were significant enough to ruin a lounge’s appearance. Dog oil ruins upholstery and seeing, smelling, and touching it can be quite bothersome. Dog oil can make you dislike your upholstery.

At first you may not notice a difference when your lounge becomes dirty. However, you will easily notice the effects of cleaning your lounge, thus showing how dirty the lounge has been all along and that the cleaning process made a big difference.

So, what can AllAces Cleaning & Restoration do for you? Our technicians are equipped with superb cleaning skills and are qualified through the IICRC. Below is outlined the steps that outechnicians take to make sure that your upholstery is cleaned properly.

Our Process

  1. First, we determine the type of fabric that your lounge has. We do this so that we can identify the correct cleaning product to use for your upholstery.
  2. Then, we use a vacuum cleaner to deal with any dry soil that is on our lounge. We not only vacuum the easily noticeable areas of your lounge, but we also clean the portions under the cushions.
  3. We then place some preconditioner into the lounge’s fabric. The preconditioner is hot so that cleaning can proceed quickly.
  4. Then, using a sponge or brush, we spread the conditioner while it is on the fabric. Doing so can remove any soiling that remains and breaks down all oil (such as dog oil).
  5. Next, we use high -powered machines (mounted on trucks) to apply steam extract into your fabric. Doing so removes all chemicals that wereapplied and removes all soiling.
  6. Then, we groom the lounge’s fabric. That way, the fibres will all rest in a single direction and your lounge will look much nicer.
  7. Finally, we use air movers operating at high speeds so that your lounge will dry quickly.
