In September 2022, AllAces was met with the challenge of a substantial 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom hoarder clean up that had severely affected the majority of the home. Due to the degree of hoarding damage, multiple skips of rubbish, decontamination treatments and mould remediation services were needed to return the property to a pre-loss condition.
Beginning the hoarder clean up project, our IICRC-certified technicians worked to dispose of all rubbish within the property before completing a full top-down clean of all interior building surfaces with antimicrobials. The main bedroom carpet was stripped out and disposed of with all other carpets cleaned, sanitised, and extracted. Tiled surfaces were acid washed including the bathrooms and back concrete flooring high pressure washed.
The 2nd bathroom had been severely affected by mould with the ceiling completely stripped out and replaced. Further mould and odour treatments were then undertaken to effectively restore the property.
After more than 80 man-hours, the use of air scrubbers and hydroxyl generators across a 3-day period and unmatched hoarder clean up services, the property was successfully returned to a pre-loss condition. The AllAces team worked with empathy, discretion, and commitment to efficiently return this client’s home to a safe and habitable environment.
