In July 2023, ST F.X. Cabrini Hospital experienced a major leak which had seeped into the facilities plaster walls, vinyl flooring and exceeded the designated containment area. The source of the leak had been discovered in the 2cm thick biohazard waste pipe feeding from the surgical ward requiring extensive decontamination and forensic clean up services.
The AllAces team got to work, collaborating closely with a Hygienist to ensure the high levels of health and safety standards were met during the forensic clean up process.
Our IICRC-certified technicians utilized their expertise to remove all biohazardous affected plaster and vinyl flooring with extensive sanitization cleaning undertaken to each and every layer of containment. A hydroxyl generator was then utilized in a 3-step chemical decontamination process to ensure zero interference with hospital access and operations.
After 84-man hours in 7 days, with 1 Hydroxyl generator, 2 Air Scrubbers, and 5 Drying Fans, our expert team successfully remediated the affected area to a clean, sanitized, and decontaminated condition. The Hospital’s high level of health and safety was effectively restored with zero disruption during the forensic clean up process and exceptional results.
