Who wrote this: AllAces Cleaning & Restoration. We do meth remediation ourselves, so we’ve put ourselves first in this list of the best meth remediation companies in NSW, Victoria and Queensland, and you should read it knowing that. Every other company is described from its own website as at November 2026, using the same criteria. If anything about your business is wrong or out of date, contact us and we’ll fix it.
Searching for a meth remediation company usually means something has already gone wrong: a positive test, a tenant leaving, a sale on hold. This list compares eight companies working in NSW, Victoria and Queensland on the things that actually protect you, so you can shortlist quickly and ask the right questions.
What makes a good meth remediation company? Four things: IICRC certification at firm or technician level, laboratory analysis by a NATA accredited lab, clearance testing you can rely on (ideally by someone independent of the cleaner), and a written scope before work starts. Use those checks on any company you compare, including the ones below.
Key takeaways
- Check four things: IICRC certification, NATA accredited laboratory, reliable clearance testing, written scope.
- Coverage matters. Only some firms work across all three states.
- Independent clearance is the strongest proof. A “guaranteed clearance certificate” from the cleaner isn’t the same thing.
- Several websites can be one business. Check the ABN and phone number on any quote.
- Compare scopes, not prices. Ask every company to quote against the same sampling report.
How we compared them
Every company was assessed on the same five things, using only what it publishes on its own website:
- Clearance testing. Is the final test done by someone other than the cleaner? That is the single biggest protection you have.
- Laboratory analysis. Are samples analysed by a NATA accredited laboratory, as Australian guidelines expect?
- IICRC certification. At firm level or for the technicians doing the work.
- Coverage. Does the company work in NSW, Victoria and Queensland, or only part of that area?
- Transparency. How much does the website tell you about the process before you call?
What we didn’t score: price, because it depends on the property, and online reviews, because they are easy to inflate in either direction. Where a website doesn’t mention something, we say “not stated on its website”, not that the company doesn’t have it.

2. Elite
Works in: Branches in Sydney, Northern Rivers, Tamworth, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Mackay and Goondiwindi, plus other states.
What stands out: An IICRC Certified Firm with NATA-accredited laboratory partners and room-by-room swab sampling. It states a separate company can perform the final test, carries $20 million public liability cover, and the brand has operated since 1984.
Worth checking: Confirm a branch covers your area for meth work specifically.
3. NLR Meth Clean Up (NLR Restoration)
Works in: Brisbane (Murarrie) and Sydney (Clyde).
What stands out: IICRC certified technicians, a NATA approved laboratory, and a team that includes an industrial hygienist and a civil engineer. Post-remedial verification testing, and unmarked vans.
Worth checking: No Victorian base is listed on its website.
4. Delta Environmental
Works in: All states, metro and regional.
What stands out: Independent post-work testing on every job, by NATA-accredited testing companies. It strips, cleans and rebuilds affected areas.
Worth checking: IICRC certification isn’t stated on its website. It describes its work as “NAMC and NATA-aligned”, which is different from being accredited itself.
5. Contam Solutions
Works in: Melbourne-based, with Brisbane service areas and pages for Sydney and other capitals.
What stands out: It states it does not validate its own remediation work. Testing is done by independent providers the client engages directly, the clearest separation of cleaner and tester on this list.
Worth checking: No certifications are stated on its website.
6. Bluey’s Cleaning Solutions
Works in: The Gold Coast, Brisbane and Tweed Heads.
What stands out: IICRC qualified technicians and NATA or IANZ accredited laboratories. Its manager has more than 20 years of policing experience, including drug manufacturing investigations, and it works with industrial hygienists on remediation action plans.
Worth checking: Coverage is south-east Queensland and the Tweed only.
7. Jim’s Hazardous Material Removal
Works in: Franchise operators in NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
What stands out: Post-remediation retesting by a forensic hygienist, with samples sent to an independent laboratory, and work that covers drains, ventilation and outdoor areas.
Worth checking: Service levels can vary between franchisees, so ask who will do your job. No certifications are stated on its meth page.
8. Meth Lab Cleaners Australia
Works in: Offices listed in Sydney, the Central Coast, Melbourne and Brisbane, among others.
What stands out: National coverage, with both testing and remediation on offer.
Worth checking: No named accreditations or laboratory are stated on its website. It shares a contact number with Forensic Cleaning Australia, Crime Scene Clean and Meth Residue Testing, so check the ABN on any quote.

Four questions to ask any company before you sign
- Who does the clearance testing, and are they independent of you? Ask for the tester’s name and NATA accreditation number.
- Which laboratory analyses the samples? It should be NATA accredited.
- Is the firm or the technician IICRC certified? Ask for the certificate number and check it.
- Will I get a written scope against my sampling report? Without one, you can’t compare quotes.
How to compare the scopes themselves is set out in our guide to comparing meth removal quotes. What each certification actually proves is covered in certified meth decontamination explained.
Red flags
- A price before any testing. Nobody can scope a job without results.
- A “guaranteed clearance certificate” from the same company that cleaned. Independent clearance is what protects you.
- Several brand names, one phone number. Check you know which business you are contracting.
- No laboratory named. “Lab tested” means little without a NATA accredited lab behind it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best meth remediation company in Australia?
There is no official ranking. The best company for your property works in your state, uses a NATA accredited laboratory, has IICRC certification and uses clearance testing you can rely on. AllAces wrote this list and ranks itself first, so use the four checks above on any company, including us.
Which meth remediation companies work in NSW, Victoria and Queensland?
Of the companies on this list, AllAces, Elite, Delta Environmental, Contam Solutions, Jim’s Hazardous Material Removal and Meth Lab Cleaners Australia all list operations or service areas in all three states. NLR lists Brisbane and Sydney. Bluey’s covers south-east Queensland and the Tweed.
Which meth remediation companies use IICRC certified technicians?
On their own websites, AllAces and Elite state they are IICRC Certified Firms. NLR and Bluey’s state their technicians hold IICRC certification or qualifications.
Should the company that cleans also do the clearance test?
Ideally not. Independent clearance testing, by someone who didn’t do the cleaning, is the strongest evidence a property is safe. Contam Solutions and Delta Environmental build this into every job.
How much does meth remediation cost?
As an estimate, a light job runs $1,000 to $5,000, a moderate one $5,000 to $10,000, and a heavy job or former lab $10,000 to $40,000 or more, depending on how contaminated the property is. See what meth decontamination costs in Sydney for a full breakdown.
How did you choose the best meth remediation companies on this list?
We looked for companies that state on their own websites that they work in NSW, Victoria or Queensland, then checked each one against the same criteria: independent clearance testing, a NATA accredited laboratory, IICRC certification, coverage across the three states, and how clearly they explain their process. We didn’t score price, because it depends on the property, or online reviews, because they’re easy to inflate in either direction.
