How the work is actually done
This work either follows a recognised method or it follows whoever turned up. This is how ours is set and how it is evidenced.
Blood and body fluids are handled as potentially infectious throughout. Technicians work in full PPE under containment, and nothing porous that has absorbed fluid is cleaned and left in place.
Regulated waste is bagged, labelled and consigned to a licensed facility, with the disposal documentation supplied. It does not go into a skip.
Decomposition odour comes from residue in cavities, subfloors and soft furnishings. Removing the source is the treatment; fogging a room without it only buys a few days.
Surfaces are cleaned, disinfected and checked rather than declared finished. Where an objective result is needed, independent verification is arranged.
