This machine tufted acrylic rug was brought in to our factory recently as it was heavily stained with Play Dough and food. The rug was used in a children’s play area and desperately needed to be brought back to life.
Firstly we inspected the rug to try and identify the spots and stains that exist and pinpoint any areas that may require extra treatment. We then dusted the rug using a specialized Rug Badger machine to remove dirt and grime from deep within the rug fibres.
After this process we used a HEPA filter vacuum to ensure we removed as much of the dry soil as possible. We thoroughly washed the rug, then deodorized and neutralized the rug to make sure no residue is left behind. The rug was then groomed to remove any cleaning marks and promote the drying process. After the cleaning method was completed this rug went in our Drying Room to dry. Our Drying Room is humidity and temperature controlled to make sure the rugs are dried under the best possible conditions.
All Aces Cleaning & Restoration offers a range of services in our factory including rug cleaning. We highly recommend rugs are cleaned at our factory based in Murarrie, on the south side of Brisbane for the best possible results. It allows the technicians the time and the correct tools to complete the task properly.
Unique Cleaning Process Depending on the Type of Rug
All of the rugs brought in by our clients will have a slightly different cleaning process depending on a few different variables. These include:
- type or make of the rug;
- the level of soiling;
- where the rug is kept in the home;
- the traffic over the rug; and
- the colour of the rug.
All of these factors need to be considered when establishing the best method to clean the rug.
All rugs are inspected by our Senior Technician before returning them to our customers. This is all part of our satisfaction guarantee.
